My trip to Italy #1

So from the 12th December till the 15th December I was in Italy with two of my aunts Dorianne and Rita. I have to say that I fell in love with Italy and I wanted to stay there. I cried a little when I arrived back in Malta.


After an hour and a half flight we arrived at Pisa, where we were staying in an apartment. The host was quite nice and the apartment was clean and big which was exactly what we hoped for.

After we unpacked everything it was about eight o'clock so we decided to go out and look around Pisa. We discovered a street full of shops like H&M and Lush, and I was so excited because we don't have these shops in Malta.

We decided to stop for a while and have something traditional to eat in this small restaurant where the food was delicious and not expensive.

After we were done eating we decided to go and see the leaning tower of Pisa. It was about an hour walk from where we were and there weren't many people in the dark streets, so we decided to turn back and see the tower another day because we were getting a bad vibe. Better safe than sorry.

We went back to the little piazza where we ate and sat down for a glass of red wine while we listened to this good Argentinian band. Everything was so perfect and I was so happy to finally be in Italy.

After we drank our wine we made our way back to the apartment because the next day we had to wake up early to take the train to Lucca. (read about this in the next blog post)
